Supplies list for the walnut ink sample

(Note that since this is an experimental
samples class, you don't necessarily have to
have all of the supplies--bring along what you
would like to play with)
two dozen (or more) #8 (6-1/4" by 3-1/8") (or
larger) manila tags
one 1-1/2 inch (or larger) loose leaf book
ring
stapler
pen
bone folder or other scoring tool
food coloring set (the kind you get from the
grocery store)
large, shallow container (for dyeing paper
using food coloring)
walnut ink
crystals, dissolved in hot water
Peerless
watercolors
masking tape
coccoina or other glue stick
Portfolio water soluble oil pastels (made by
Crayola)
spray bottle or mister filled with water
spray bottle or mister filled with bleach
various tags, printmaking papers, etc. to try
(be sure to keep track of these)
(suggested papers include: Rives BFK, Arches
88, mulberry paper, lotka paper, etc., white
construction paper)
calligraphy inks
adhesive letters or shapes (to use as a mask)
soft pastels
gesso (especially Daniel Smith colored gessos)
