Walnut Ink Sample Book
Create a random pattern using water soluble oil pastels. A wash of walnut ink was applied over this. The oil pastels act as a subtle resist. Note that walnut ink must be applied in one direction and "one coat". Applying further coats will dissolve the water soluble oil pastels and erase the effect.
