Although they no longer have a monetary value in terms of shares of stock, they are great for collage or for creating "dubious documents" as Nick Bantock suggests in his recent book, "Urgent 2nd Class" (He shows his own version of altered stock certificates). Stock certificates are used and may have small tears or other imperfections which we think adds to their charm . . . Vintage "Other European" or Canadian Miniature Postcard Folders Perfect for altered books and other travel-related projects, these vintage miniature postcard folders are available for an assortment of locales. Each of the folders contains miniature postcards of various European locations. (Note that Italy, Germany and France have their own separate listings!) All are "chromes" and are vibrantly printed with the names of the attraction on the back of the postcard in several languages. Each folder has a different number of mini postcards in it. All are priced at just $.15/per postcard. Postcards measure 3"x4" unless noted otherwise. Postcards in this series are in generally good vintage condition with no tears. Note that for most folders, we have only one of each in stock. |

This is truly an eclectic and international line of postcards featuring popular, folk and contemporary arts from Africa, Asia and the Americas. The images include paintings by contemporary Mexican, Chicano, Cuban, Haitian, Belizean, Indian, Turkish and Senegalese artists, barbershop signboards from West Africa, textiles from Haiti and popular religious images from Mexico and India. The Indigo Arts card line includes the world's largest selection of work by self-taught Haitian artists as well as the contemporary artists of Oaxaca, Mexico, including the world-renowned painter Rodolfo Morales. Postcards are Continental (4" x 6") size and have a caption on the back. Printed in the USA with a glossy UV coating. |
