While many post photos of their artwork on flickr, you may want to consider an alternative space, designed especially for artists: sketchbooks.orgThis is a very cool website where you can view other artist's sketchbooks, create your own, get inspirational quotes or even create an online drawing through their sketchpad interface. Somehow this post disappeared so I'm reposting it! Part of the world wide moleskine journal exhibition. . .More links on the Detour exhibit, which originated in London (I think) is now in NYC through the end of June. It features the work of several artists all working in the moleskine journals. There are many you-tube videos of the work and a couple of very cool websites. Check them out! Here

we visited the striking glass sculptures of Dale Chihuly in the lush green setting of Phipps Conservatory. This exhibit of more than 20 glass installations was awe-inspiring. The pictures shown were taken with the camera in my cell phone (I forgot to take my "real" digital camera.
