Bone: Finely carved skull bone malas. the carving on these skull bone malas is quite nice. Each strand has 108 beads and comes in two sizes: 5x6mm and 7x9mm. These are a really special addition to our ever-growing inventory of skull beads.
Bone: Detailed carved bone skull bead. The detail in these large handcarved white bone skull beads is incredible. Note that this bone has not been aged or smoked and is a creamy white color. Several hanging holes are drilled. Beads measure 32mm long by 15mm wide (remember that 25mm~1 inch!). Made in Indonesia
Bone: Dark Brown Skeleton Bead/Pendant. We fell in love with these skeleton bead/pendants! They measure a generous 45mm high and 25mm wide. The 1-2mm hole is at the top. Nicely carved and ebony-stained, theses beads will be fabulous in all of your Day of the Dead projects!
Bone: Adinkra Gye Nyame Batik Beads. Two designs and two sizes for these stunning batik beads--the West African Adinkra symbol, Gye Nyame ("except for God" -- the symbol of the supremacy of God) adorns them both. This unique and beautiful symbol is ubiquitous in Ghana. It is by far the most popular for use in decoration, a reflection on the deeply religious character of the Ghanaian people. The smaller ebony brown wood bead with ivory-colored markings measures 3/4" square and the larger blonde wood bead with ivory markings and hand-painted black outline is 1" square. Both beads are drilled from top to bottom. For a limited time, we are offering these by the strand. The smaller batik bone beads have 10 beads to a strand and the larger ones have 9 beads per strand. Would make great necklace or earring components.
Bone: Hanging Bone Skeleton Beads. These hand-carved skeleton beads come in two finishes: light aged bone and ebony. (Your choice) Substantial holes have been drilled in the hands, arms, torso and feet so the skeleton can appear to be climbin or hanging from its cord. Each skeleton bead is 1.25" long. Made in China.
Bone: Round Indonesian Carved Bone Moon Face Bead. Similar in quality to our oval Indonesian carved face beads, these round face beads are a creamy white bone with detailed moon face carving. The beads are approximately 25mm in diameter and are sold individually. Please see the photo for the placement of the holes on the back.
Bone: 2 Sided Poker Playing Card Tile Beads. These bone poker playing card tile beads are similar to our mah jongg tile beads except that they are patterned after a standard deck of poker cards. The beads are two-sided and are drilled top to bottom. They are 25mm high and 19mm wide. The hole is approximately 1mm. They are carved and the color is inlaid (painted). They are not perfectly done (there's some coloring outside the lines!) but we think that adds to their charm!
Bone: Antiqued Bone Dragon Bead/Pendant These wonderful bead/pendants are handcarved with the popular dragon motif. For the ultimate in flexibility, these pendants are drilled from front to back through the dragon's teeth and have two other holes: one through the side of the teeth and the other through the jaw. The pendants range from 25-27mm long and 9-11mm in diameter.
Carved Indonesian oval bone bead faces
We've been looking for these beads for a very long time and have finally found them. Unlike our Indonesian cabochons, these are beads which have two holes on the reverse for stringing onto your necklace project! The handcarving, done in the traditional Indonesian style, is wonderful. These beads measure 26mm long by 20mm wide and would also make great pendants! Remember that 25mm is equal to one inch.

This wonderful strand of bone tablet beads has an skull design done in the batik method. The skull is an ebony hue on an ivory background with a striking ebony frame around the bead. Bone 27x33mm Giant Bone Skull Bead - These extra-large hand-carved bone skull beads measure a generous 27mm x 33mm, although there is some size variation (some are larger). Nicely carved and reasonably priced, these giant bone skull beads will add a unique accent to your next chunky jewelry project or would make a great head for an art doll!

34mm flat back bone skull bead with hat - Rustically hand-carved, flat back large bone skull bead with a dapper hat. These are sold individually. They have been lightly antiqued and are drilled top to bottom. They measure 25mm wide by 34-35mm long. The skull beads are approximately 9mm thick with a 2-3mm hole.
13x16mm bone skull beads with large hole - Finally a large hole bone skull bead! Nicely handcarved beads that measure approximately 13mm wide by 16mm high and are sold individually. Lightly antiqued. Expect some size and shape variation. The variation in the texture of the bone is visible in many of these skull beads.

These bone beads have been dyed a black color and the writing is white making for a really striking design on these beads. These combine well with skull beads in tribal jewelry designs.

Bone Sea Turtle Scrimshaw Bead Strand - These spectacular bone sea turtle beads are sold by the strand. The bone beads have scrimshaw markings and are nicely carved. They measure 20mm wide by 25mm long (25mm~1 inch). Drilled from nose to tail (hole is approximately 1-2mm). The detailing on these is especially nice.
